This exciting game – freshly resurrected and reimagined from its 2001 debut – puts you in the role of a B-movie director, tasked with creating the ultimate cult classic. With a deck of Location, Character, Prop, and Special Effect cards, you'll have everything you need to bring your wildest film ideas to life.
In "Grave Robbers From Outer Space," you'll go up against shifting alliances with other rival B-movie directors to craft the most outrageous films imaginable. Whether you're creating a horror masterpiece, a kung fu action flick, or a sci-fi adventure, you'll need to use strategy and cunning with your cards to emerge victorious.
But beware! Your opponents are also trying to build their own movies, and they'll use their Creature cards to attack yours. You'll need to defend your film and try to take out your opponents' movies if you want to come out on top.
One of the unique features of GROS is its community-driven development. Hosted by The Academy of Resurrected Games and Holdings (ARGH), new seasons of the game are built through cards designed by and voted on by the community, ensuring that the game stays fresh and exciting. Plus, all art and game assets and card creation software is free and open source, making it easy for fans to get involved, modify, and contribute to the game.
